Young Grey Butcherbird with parents in Buffalo Creek reserve
Heard Sacred kingfisher near nest site
no sign of firetail near nest or lorikeet
four storm bird still flying around
peewee still brooding

Satin Bowerbird plus bower; Grey Fantail, Lewins Honeyeater, Cuckoo (shining or Horsfield) - Max, Fri. 18 July, 2008, Birding-Aus

7-3-2009: Black-faced Monarch, Australian Figbird, Brown Goshawk, Olive-backed Oriole, Satin Flycatcher Field of Mars Wildlife Reserve, East RydeBlack-faced Monarch: 1 observed on the edge of the grassy area, NE of the bridge. Most likely the same bird seen over the past 2 weeks. Australian Figbird: 1 perched at the top of a large dead tree next to the gassy area in the SW section, positively identified by call. Brown Goshawk: 1 immature bird and 1 adult female, flying around and calling. At one point the young bird had 4 cockatoos and 4 currawongs chasing him around. Olive-backed Oriole: 1 female. Satin Flycatcher: 1 observed on the edge of the grassy area, NE of the bridge. Passage migrant.Max Breckenridge 7/3 #8321
