Where is it?

Field of Mars Wildlife Refuge is located in the City of Ryde Council area of the northern suburbs of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia - just north of the Parramatta River. Buffalo Creek, a feature of the Wildlife Refuge, joins the Lane Cove River just before this river enters Sydney Harbour.
The Refuge is adjacent to the Lane Cove National Park. It has some delightful short walks with a variety of bird and plant life as illustrated in this blog.
